Security built into the wider picture

Better Protection Starts With Fewer Gaps.

Your devices, inboxes, accounts and people all play a part in security. We help you bring those layers together, prioritise the risks and choose protection that fits your business.

01 — The problem

Buying Security Tools Isn’t the Same as Managing Security.

You may already have antivirus, multi-factor authentication and a backup. The important question is whether they cover the right areas, are configured properly and have a clear response process behind them.

An old account, a weak sharing setting or an unprotected device can leave a gap between otherwise useful controls.

Our approach starts with understanding the environment. We look at the agreed areas of risk and help define the next practical improvements, rather than assuming every business needs the same stack.

02 — What’s covered

Protection Across the Places Your Business Works

Devices & Endpoints

Choose appropriate protection for supported computers and servers. Monitoring and response capabilities depend on the agreed service level.

Email & Phishing Risk

Reduce exposure to malicious messages and impersonation with suitable email protection, configuration and user guidance.

Cloud Identity & Access

Strengthen account security, review permissions and support sensible authentication policies. Access should reflect a person’s role, not every permission they have ever been given.

Security Awareness

Help staff recognise suspicious activity and know how to report it. Training and phishing simulations can be scoped as part of the wider security plan.

Detection & Response

Where required, add managed detection and response capabilities. We explain the coverage, escalation arrangements and responsibilities before you commit.

Recovery Readiness

Connect security planning with backup and business continuity. Preventive controls matter, but so does knowing how to recover when an incident disrupts work.

03 — Our propositions

A Clearer Way to Discuss Protection and Resilience

Managed Cyber brings the group’s cyber security focus together. Cyberfend and Cybertect are service propositions within that offer, not separate companies you need to coordinate.

The right starting point depends on the environment, level of protection and response capability you need. We explain the current options and their inclusions in your proposal.

  • Identify gaps
  • Prioritise controls
  • Agree coverage
  • Define escalation

04 — How it works

Start With Risk. Build a Practical Plan.

  1. Understand the setup. Discuss accounts, devices, existing controls and business dependencies.
  2. Prioritise improvements. Identify where configuration, tools or staff processes need attention.
  3. Agree delivery and response. Define what is implemented, what is monitored and who acts when an issue is raised.

05 — FAQs

Straight Answers About Security

Can you guarantee we will not be attacked?

No provider can guarantee that. The aim is to reduce risk, improve detection and support an effective response within the agreed scope.

Does this replace cyber insurance?

No. Technical controls, insurance and business response planning have different roles. Check policy requirements with your insurer or broker.

Will this make us compliant or certified?

Not automatically. A service can support particular controls, but certification and regulatory obligations need their own assessment and evidence.

Can we improve security without replacing everything?

Often, better configuration and clearer processes are part of the answer. We discuss what can be retained and where additional controls are justified.
